Door Jam: December 31, 2016

Door Jam

Door Jam is a collection of odd, funny and nerdy news and videos from around the web. If you see a post that should be in Door Jam, tweet it to me @WardrobeDoor.

Phys.org: They call this robotics breakthrough an Avatar-style robot, but I want to see them combine four or five of these gigantic robots with humans inside to form Voltron or at least the Power Rangers.

CBC: This might be the most Canadian thing I’ve ever seen. If there had been a moose involved, this would have become the national video of our northern neighbor.

Five Thirty Eight: Math nerds and Star Wars nerds got together to explain the whole franchise in one chart.

YouTube: If this year were a horror movie, this would be the most perfect trailer for 2016. And by that I simply mean, this is the most perfect trailer for 2016.

Bleeding Cool: Maybe, just maybe, Hollywood is going to ruin Gremlins with a reboot/sequel like they’ve done almost everything else from my childhood. (I mock, but I’ll definitely see a Gremlins 3.)

Movie Web: Who’s going to be in Avengers: Infinity War? The better question would be: Who’s not going to be in Avengers: Infinity War? Here’s the casting list so far, which includes Captain Marvel.

I’m guessing the only superheroes who aren’t showing up will be in the Justice League, but I’m starting to wonder if even Batman might have a cameo.

YouTube: Speaking of Batman, someone made a ridiculously cool trailer for a Batman v. Superman movie if they were in the Star Wars universe. It works way better than it has any business to.
