People are complaining about Apple giving them a new U2 album for free. Why? The internet, that’s why.
But some have taken this and made the best of it – particularly comedian Robert Berry (@retrocrush).
Ugh! Apple just added a U2 Map app to my iPhone without my permission. None of the streets even have names on them.

Absolutely brilliant. His responses filled were filled with others making connections between U2 songs and iPhone apps. Here are some of the best.
@retrocrush And as my friend B followed up, “Also, you can’t find what you’re looking for with the new U2 search app.”

Personally, I’m excited about the traffic app that takes you back ways you didn’t expect called Mysterious Ways.
I want U2 Translate to let me know what “achtung” means and for Siri to say, “I’m answering your questions with or without you.”
Actually, I really want a “Learn to Speak U2 Spanish” app to tell me why I keep counting “uno, dos, tres, catorce!”
What free U2 apps are you looking forward to deleting from your phone?
