Did Pope Francis Say “All Religions Are True”?

It can happen to any of us. It does happen to almost all of us.

We see a story online that shocks us and seems just true enough.

Normally, we check things out before we share them, but this is so unbelievable we need to get the news out as soon as possible.

We post it on Facebook or retweet it. Before we know it, others have shared the story.

Only then do we find out the truth – it was fake.

I noticed several people worriedly posting an article claiming Pope Francis concluded the Third Vatican Council by announcing the Catholic Church was making revolutionary changes to their core doctrines.

They were not alone. The post has more than 10,000 shares on Facebook.

In the main section of the article, they quote the Pope as saying:

“All religions are true, because they are true in the hearts of all those who believe in them. What other kind of truth is there? In the past, the church has been harsh on those it deemed morally wrong or sinful. Today, we no longer judge. Like a loving father, we never condemn our children. Our church is big enough for heterosexuals and homosexuals, for the pro-life and the pro-choice! For conservatives and liberals, even communists are welcome and have joined us. We all love and worship the same God.”

I will not link the blog and give them any additional traffic, but if you dig down a few layers, you will find an admission that “the original content on this blog is largely satirical.”

In fact, the writer says that he created the blog for his “own personal amusement.”

I’m sure he is highly amused by all of the traffic and attention his site is garnering through sensational, but entirely fake “news” stories.

The easiest way to disprove the content of the post is the fact that there has not been a Third Vatican Council, as the writer claims.

The last council organized by the Catholic Church was the Second Vatican Council from 1962-1965.

The post claimed the Third Vatican Council has lasted the last six months. That would have been extremely difficult and unlikely for Pope Francis since that would have required him to call a council three months into his papacy.

As I said at the beginning, sharing a fake story can happen to any of us, so we must be diligent in pursuing the truth and double-checking our facts, especially with controversial stories.

Christians, above all others, must be concerned with and dedicated to the truth – even (especially) on social media.

Thanks a lot for this. You have made a very valuable contribution, especially with your last remark. Appreciate!!

    • Thanks Arie! I just want Christians to be concerned with truth above all else.

      • thethruth

first and foremost iwould like to give thanks and praise to the one and only one worthy of worship.. i myself also believe that you should be truthfull especially with ourselveS(WHO IS GOD)
the article emphasised that all relions are the same.
let me start of by saying we love jessus peace be apon him.
christains believe that jessus is the son of god. miraculous conception without a man. as i stated earlier god created the universe living and dead, god also created adam without a mother or father, eve also was without a mother. would you say that god concieved them or created them, i think you would find that the word created sounds more pleasing.

jews believe that jessus is an illegitimate son, they say that marry did adultery with joseph, now think about this. not cool right, thats what i said too. now lets see what islam says about jessus.

the quran which we believe is the last and final testament says in al-imran when angel gabriel appeared to mary in the form of a man, angel gabriel said to marry that god has chosen you above all the women to carry a child named jesus marry said how can i have a child when no man has touched me and i am chaste, ANGEL GABRIEL SAID TO MARRY THAT WHEN GOD DECREES A THOUGHT ALL GOD HAS TO SAY TO IT IS BE(THE WORD).
when marry was in labour pains angel gabriel appeared to her again and said let no man trespass this covenant(AGREEMENT) WITH GOD. ANGEL GABRIEL SAID TO marry shake the date palm tree and fresh dates shall fall down, pound on the soil and a spring shall appear. when marry returned with jessus, everyone was shocked to see marry returned with a baby, they questioned her. they said marry your mom was no whoremonger what is this. marry pointed to jesus and jesus spoke in the cradle, i am jesus son of marry god has chosen me to lead mankind through childhood and maturity with the book of law and wisedom the gospel.
inclusion i testify that there is no god except one god, there is no deity worthy of worship except god alone, no partners, god neither begetts nor is begotten. god is one, god is one

  2. Camilo

    • Camilo, the most loving thing someone can say is the truth. If Jesus is who He said He was then it would not be loving for the Pope to say otherwise.

      • Spencer

Although the article was untrue in the sense that it was claiming the Pope to have said things that he did not, that does not necessarily invalidate the message within it. As Camilo did, I also found the words to be loving, forgiving and inspiring, even though I was fully aware that they did not actually come from the Pope.

The truth can indeed be loving; but it can also be harsh, cruel and unjust. There are plenty of people that tout “the truth” to spread messages of hate and intolerance.

Also, I do not believe the article said anything about the Pope claiming Jesus was not who he said he was.

    • Christian inne

Still, this would sure has been something that the pope and the papacy could stand for! John Paul II kissed the koran and called muslims our brothers and so on. You have not to be very enlightend to se that this is anti-christian doctrine, as the Vatican always comes with!

  3. Sarah

Thank you! i was very UPSET by that article.

  4. jujubee

Lots of scared catholics out there. Don’t worry, still plenty of room for your hate.

    • I’m not Catholic – far from it – but I do not believe they are hateful. Equating disagreement with hating leaves no words for us to describe those who actually hate.

  5. Nigel

    Pope uses sophistry

    • How would you say the pope is intending to deceive people with fallacious argumentation? Even if he is, I’m not sure how that’s relevant to the fake post going viral.

  6. Ashton

its actually Sssaaaaaddddddd to millions and millions of people in this world that its not true…so saaaddddd…which is boils down to the reason millions will never choose christianity…love…is love…and would be the only thing myyyy gggodd would want from anyone…the sharing of love

    • I understand that Ashton, but sometimes being loving means telling someone no or that they are wrong. As a parent, I can’t just let my children do whatever they would like. That’s no loving. God is love, but He is also holy and righteous. Those are perfectly displayed in Christ on the cross.

      • daniel

Who defines right or wrong though? How many times has the “bible” been modified to suit selfish purposes? The ‘truth’ is subjective, the truth is just as true to a buddhist as it is to a christian as it is to a non-religious spiritual person. But they’re all different. who has the right to define to somebody else what’s ‘wrong’ if it’s something as SIMPLE AS A MESSAGE OF LOVE, ACCEPTANCE, AND GOOD VALUES (WHAT THE FAKE ESSAY HERE IS SHOWING).

        AM I CORRECT?

        • If the truth is subjective, does that include the statement “truth is subjective”? That’s a circular argument. You are claiming a truth statement, but at the same time saying that the truth statement cannot be true.

I find it ironic that people are defending an untrue, blatantly false article, by saying it points to the truth.

How do you know what Jesus’ message is, if the Bible is untrustworthy and one of fear?

If being a Christian was all about doing good things then sure Buddha, Ghandi and scores of other people would be great examples. But that’s not what Christianity is about. That’s not why Christ came.

Why don’t just need an example of how to be good. We all know how. We just can’t do it. Jesus came to offer his life for ours – to die for us. He offers a completely new life in Him. That’s what makes a Christian.

          • Tele David

god bless you aaron. (why is your site text set to uppercase? lol)

it is sad that the world will always look for any reason to justify their actions, fear and wrongs.
if my son were to go on a long dark road of child abuse, and i do all i can to stop him no matter how harsh, does that mean that i do not love him? loving him does not mean that i have to accept his decision to throw away his life on drug abuse, rather, if he dies from the abuse then my love has failed. if i do not do anything to change his path then i do not love him at all.

  7. Unhappyitsnottrue

it is DISAPPOINTING that it is not true

  8. Ashton

you say “telling them that they’re wrong”…how are you or anyone else on this earth going to say anyone “is wrong”…the fact that you have the audacity to say that is amazing…in the eyes of millions that is your opinion bottom line (but ofcourse entitled to that)…that’s not speech that brings people of different faiths together…its demeaning and condescending…my god would believe people should be able to believe in what feels on right in their soul…good luck on your journey…

    • wonderboy

Ashton, I hope you realize that you — and every anti-Catholic out there – is guilty of the exact same thing of which you are accusing Aaron….you are insisting that he is wrong, simply because he disagrees with what you believe. it doesn’t matter which side of the debate on which I sit, the fact is that no one should steadfastly insist that the “other side” is intolerant and wrong for holding an opposing view, for that would be ludicrously hypocritical.

      • Ashton

you are talking what i said out of context…i didnt say he was “wrong”…im not saying that…im only saying that i dont agree with the thought process of talking down to people as though you or anyone knows all the answers…im not claiming to and neither should anyone else…its all opinions and faith based…not proof…

        • If everything is just opinion and no one has any access to truth, then why get upset at anything? How can you call anything demeaning or condescending? BAsed on what standard? Whose standard?

When you say there is no truth and no one is right or wrong, you remove any justification you have for being upset at the Pope or any other Christian.

No one here, least of all me, has said we have all the answers. There is a difference from saying I know something and saying I know everything (and saying I know nothing).

      • JAy

Wonderboy, the fact that you accused ashton of being “anti-catholic” only reveals malcontent. i would not have drawn the same conclusion, so your vantage point is most apparently not a given or remotely universal amongst Christians. you should focus on the subject at hand, not the person. it’s this exact same self-righteous and condemning attitude of the most vocal (and venomous) “Christians” that is driving Christianity to a moribund state. in an age of moral relativism and secular reasoning, these words and behaviors will only drive more people to assume that all Christians are hateful, religious zealots with little to nothing to offer the world except a narrow-minded viewpoint and an antiquated interpretation of a really old book. we are better than this and we can do better than this as representatives of the most high.

        • Ashton

thank you and agreed Jay. this is a diverse world. i don’t see that ever changing…so we should learn to accept each other, regardless of belief….i don’t promote against christianity…i accept that people have different faiths

          • paul

If the church is going moribund, then why all the fuss about this fake article. If it’s a dying church why are people expressing disappointment about a false story. It is the height of irresponsibility, Indifference and isolationism to not tell someone they are wrong. If I see my 2 year old child playing with a knife should I just leave him be and say it would be condescending to stop him or tell him it’s wrong to play with a knife.
Aaron good job you are doing.

        • Odd that you say Christianity is dying because of moral relativism and secular reasoning. You do realize that those values are only significant cultural influences in the west, right? While Christianity has plateaued in America and Europe (though there is even debate there), it is exploding in growth around the world.

What Christians have to offer the world is Christ. It is that the Son of God came to Earth as a helpless baby, lived a perfect life (that we could not live), died the death (that we should have died), and rose again (so that we can have His life). That is Christianity – be it from an old book or not. It has withstood entire civilizations attempting to destroy it and it will continue to stand despite cultural disagreements today.

          • Ashton

paul…youre not going to get anywhere (other then being ingored) comparing other belifs to two year olds with a knife. funny that many of them probably feel the same way about christianity….chisitanity had to KILL and be forced onto countries to get to the point it is today…..now thats sad

          • Ashton, I’m asking a serious question. Do you know about the rise of Christianity and how it grew to be a world religion?

It did not grow by forming an army and conquering nations (that was Islam). It grew from within the Roman Empire by preaching Christ and living out their faith.

The moments where Christians did take up the sword in the name of their faith did not end well for anyone. Christianity did not grow during those times.

No one can be forced to be a Christian. It is a voluntary decision that each individual must make. Each of us must decide what we will do with Christ.

          • the thruth

You said Jesus came into his world as a helpless baby. you believe that he is the father, son, holy all in one right. How can he be a helpless baby. The bible has many thruth to it however there are parts that don’t add up or ever will for that matter. Tats why I can’t follow doubt. Did you know that the scientists in today’s era are using The Qur’an. For example scientists discovered on long ago What
happens in the womb. Not just in the womb. From beginning(sperm to a leech like ) to the end(formation).

HE makes you, In the wombs of your mothers, In stages, one after another, In three veils of darkness.”

    • Christianity teaches that Adam and Eve were created. Jesus is God and therefore eternal and un-created. He came to earth as a baby, but His existence was before the foundations of time.

Islam teaches something very different. Christianity is not about who is closest to the truth, rather it is about knowing the Truth as a person – Jesus.

      • thethruth

there is a fomous quote “prove IS in the puddinng”., right? show me solid prove that jesus said he is god. its hard to follow blindly. islam proves that theory wrong(JESUS NEVER UTTURRED BEING GOD) JESUS SAID WITHOUT MY FATHER I CAN DO NOTHIN. .. as you probably already know the quran is stunning scientists all over the world.let me ask a simple question, have you ladies and gentlemen ever tried reading the QURAN(THE LAST AND FINAL TESTAMENT? if no why not, with all the contraversy over the similarities of these religions.

        • I’d be glad to show you instances where Jesus claimed to be God and equal with the Father.

It was obvious to the religious leaders of His day:

John 5:18 “This is why the Jews began trying all the more to kill Him: Not only was He breaking the Sabbath, but He was even calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.”

John 10:30-33 “The Father and I are one.” Again the Jews picked up rocks to stone Him.

Jesus replied, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. Which of these works are you stoning Me for?”

“We aren’t stoning You for a good work,” the Jews answered, “but for blasphemy, because You—being a man—make Yourself God.”

In John 8:58, Jesus said, “Before Abraham was, I Am.” In that, He was both making a claim to His eternal nature (existing hundreds of years earlier) and taking for Himself the name God the Father gave to Moses in Exodus 3:14, “Tell them I Am who I Am has sent you.”

In addition to those, He claimed to have the authority to forgive sins, which He also acknowledged only God had. He made numerous allusions to His deity and said that His miracles supported those claims.

Jesus did not leave us the option to say He was a good man or a great prophet. No one says the things He says as just a good man. He is, as C.S. Lewis argued, either a liar, a lunatic or Lord. Either He was lying about who He was, He was crazy and didn’t know any better, or He was exactly who He claimed to be – God the Son, one Person of the Trinity.

If am allowed to say something, then I will say u all have made nice contributions towards dis issue either for or against. Will conclude by saying, christainity is nt a by force religion its either u r in or out.

    • Tele David

Christianity is not a religion, it is truth.
That’s the error we keep making. The world has religions, but knowing and following Jesus Christ is the truth and the light for our dark fallen world.
It was through Adam that this world fell, and that is why We needed another man to save us and reconnect us to God the Father.
Jesus is both God and Man, Son of God and Son of Man, having both Divinity and Humanity within him.
He came, defeated the devil so we could be restored to our initial position of children of God and rulers of our God given dominion – Earth.
When Adam fell, He wasn’t deceived, rather he rebelled and by doing such, he gave up his authority to the deceiver, Sataniel.
Then death came into the world, and after death famine, pestilence, hunger, disasters and all sorts of vile corruptions that turned into a caricature what was once holy, pure and perfect.
God could have destroyed the devil after Adam fell, but God is just and fair. After he made Adam, He put Adam in charge of the earth and gave him authority to have dominion. To illustrate this, The president of a country is in charge of all the resources in a country, but he appoints governors to govern individual states. He doesn’t interfere in their affairs but gives them total authority over the affairs of the states appointed to them.
So it was only just that a man be born and conquer the devil thus restoring what was lost. Jesus is the word of God made flesh.
My moslem brother, why do you limit the power of He that is mightier than our human minds can comprehend? If God, the most high, can speak worlds into being, can he not also choose to exist as a mystery of three united as one? For God said, “let us make man in our image and likeness” unto whom was he speaking to when he made mankind? Surely it wasn’t the angels, for they do not have the likeness of the great I AM, and neither do we have the likeness of Angels. For angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who have been saved by God. And David said, “who is man that you are mindful of him? For you have made him a little higher than the angels” Surely then, it wasn’t the angels He was speaking to when he uttered these words “Let us make man in our image and likeness”
And God said unto Eve after the fall, “your seed shall crush the head of the serpent” Surely it wasn’t Abel nor Cain nor Saith that God referred to, for they came and went like all men. But God spoke of His son, who is Himself coming in the likeness of mankind to defeat the devil.
Make no mistake, God is one, and this is the truth. He is one, Yet he exists in three persons, three perfect manifestations: The father who is all encompassing and infinite, the Son who is the image of His heart and his word made flesh, and the Spirit, His Spirit, the Holy Spirit given as power for all who receive the truth that they may be led as sons of God. Our God is almighty, and He is infinite. If He is able to exist as three, because it is wisdom to Him, then who are we, through our limited, finite and carnal reasoning, question his mystery?

  12. the thruth

Jesus is the word of God made flesh. The word is BE and it Is.
Islam is the same notion. However we don’t see that translating to God having a child named Jesus. Islam teaches that god is a creator and the creator uses this WORD your referring to being Jesus is actually called Kum Faya Kum and it means BE(the word) and it is(created). That’s what Jesus means I am the word(created) and I am the way(the path of the righteous, the path to success ie. Heaven. The same preaching Abraham, Solomon, Noah, Moses preached.

    • You did not address the verses I mentioned. You went in your own direction. You asked for places where Jesus claimed to be God and I gave you those. But instead of responding to those you simply reiterated what Islam teaches.

You do not understand Christianity if you believe it teaches that God had a child named Jesus. He is Son in the way He relates to the Father, not in how He exists. He is coeternal and fully divine with the Father and the Spirit.

But again, this illustrates what I said from the beginning. Islam and Christianity teach very different things about how Jesus is.

i explained what was meant by I AM.when jesus peace me upon him said this quote he was explaining the word((BE) AND IT IS) of the one and only god which god uses when creation is taking place. “NOT” miraculous copception, “BUT” rather miraculous creation.

this is a prove that jesus peace me upon him is not but a creation.

Finally, Satan took Jesus to an especially high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. Then Satan said, “All these things I will give to you, if you will fall down and worship me.”

Jesus answered, “Get away from me, Satan: because God has written that, you shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve.”

While Jesus, the son of God, lived on earth in the form of a man, He was tempted in all the same ways we are, yet He never sinned.

how is it that satan took jesus to the highest mountian and showed jesus all the kingdoms of the world. didnt scientists prove the world to be round. that would mean the world is flat. not PLAUSIBLE. what did jesus say to the cursed satan.

Jesus answered, “Get away from me, Satan: because God has written that, you shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve.”

EMBRYONIC STAGES”Man WE did create From a quintessence (of clay); Then WE placed him As ( a drop of) sperm In a place of rest, firmly fixed; Then WE made the sperm Into a clot of congealed blood; Then of that clot WE made A (foetus) lump; then WE Made out of that lump Bones and clothed the bones With flesh; then WE developed Out of it another creature. So blessed be ALLAH, The Best to create!”                                                                                        [AL-QUR’AN 23:12-14]In this verse ALLAH states that man is created from a small quantity of liquid which is placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed(well established or lodged) for which the Arabic word ‘qararin makin’ is used. The uterus is well protected from the posterior by the spinal column supported firmly by the back muscles. The embryo is further protected by the amniotic sac containing the amniotic fluid. Thus the foetus has a well protected dwelling place. This small quantity of fluid is made into ‘alaqah’, meaning something which clings. It also means a leech-like substance. Both descriptions are scientifically acceptable as in the very early stages the foetus clings to the wall and also appears to resemble the leech in shape. It also behaves like a leech(blood sucker) and acquires its blood supply from the mother through the placenta. The third meaning of the word ‘alaqah’ is a blood clot. During this ‘alaqah’ stage, which spans the third and fourth week of pregnancy, the blood clots within closed vessels. Hence, the embryo acquires the appearance of a blood clot in addition to acquiring the appearance of a leech. In 1677, Hamm and Leeuwenhoek were the first scientists to observe human sperm cells(spermatozoa) using a microscope. They thought that a sperm cell contained a miniature human being which grew in the uterus to form a newborn. This was known as the perforation theory. When scientists discovered that the ovum was bigger than the sperm, it was thought by De Graf and others that the foetus existed in a miniature form in the ovum. Later, in the 18th century Maupertuis propagated the theory of biparental inheritence. The ‘alaqah’ is transformed into ‘mudghah’ which means ‘something that is chewed(having teeth marks)’ and also something that is tacky and small which can be put in the mouth like gum. Both these explanations are scientifically correct. Prof. Keith Moore took a piece of plaster seal and made it into the size and shape of the early stage of foetus and chewed it between the teeth to make it into a ‘Mudgha’. He compared this with the photographs of the early stage of foetus. The teeth marks resembled the ‘somites’ which is the early formation of the spinal column. This ‘mudghah’ is transformed into bones (izam). The bones are clothed with intact flesh or muscles (lahm). Then ALLAH makes it into another creature.Prof. Marshall Johnson is one of the leading scientists in US, and is the head of the Department of Anatomy and Director of the Daniel Institute at the Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia in US. He was asked to comment on the verses of the QUR’AN dealing with embryology. He said that the verses of the QUR’AN describing the embryological stages cannot be a coincidence. He said it was probable that MUHAMMAD—sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam— had a powerful microscope. On being reminded that the QUR’AN was revealed 1400 years ago, and microscopes were invented centuries after the time of PROPHET MUHAMMAD—sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam—, Prof. Johnson laughed and admitted that the first microscope invented could not magnify more than 10 times and could not show a clear picture. Later he said: “I see nothing here in conflict with the concept that Divine intervention was involved when MUHAMMAD—sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam— recited the QUR’AN.”According to Dr. Keith Moore, the modern classification of embryonic development stages which is adopted throughout the world, is not easily comprehensible, since it identifies stages on a numerical basis i.e. stage 1, stage 2, etc. The divisions revealed in the QUR’AN are based on distinct and easily identifiable forms or shapes, which the embryo passes through. These are based on different phases of prenatal development and provide elegant scientific descriptions that are comprehensible and practical. Similar embryological stages of human development have been described in the following verse:”Was he not a drop Of sperm emitted (In lowly form)? Then did he become A clinging clot; Then did (ALLAH) make And fashion (him) In due proportion. And of him HE made Two sexes, male And female.”

  17. the thruth

SENSE OF HEARING AND SIGHTThefirst sense to develop in a developing human embryo is hearing. The foetus can hear sounds after the 24th wek. Subsequently, the sense of sight is developed and by the 28th week, the retina becomes sensitive to light. Consider the following Qur’anic verses related to the development of the senses in the embryo:”And HE gave You (the faculties of) hearing And sight and feeling (And understanding).”                                                                                               [AL-QUR’AN 32:9]”Verily WE created Man from a drop Of mingled sperm, In order to try him: So WE gave him (the gifts), Of Hearing and Sight.”                                                                                               [AL-QUR’AN 76:2]”It is HE WHO has created For you (the faculties of) Hearing, sight, feeling And understanding: little thanks It is ye give!”                                                                                             [AL-QUR’AN 23:78]In all these verses the sense of hearing is mentioned before that of sight. Thus the Qur’anic description matches with the discoveries in modern embryology.T

EMBRYOLOGYMAN IS CREATED FROM ALAQ—A LEECH-LIKE SUBSTANCEA few years ago a group of Arabs collected all information concerning embryology from the QUR’AN, and followed the instruction of theQUR’AN:”If ye realise this not, ask Of those who possess the Message.”                                                                                  [AL-QUR’AN 16:43 & 21:7]All the information from the QUR’AN so gathered, was translated into English and presented to Prof. (Dr.) Keith Moore, who was the Professor of Embryology and Chairman of the Department of Anatomy at the University of Toronto, in Canada. At present he is one of the highest authorities in the field of Embryology. He was asked to give his opinion regarding the information present in the QUR’ANconcerning the field of embryology. After carefully examining the translation of the Qur’anic verses presented to him, Dr. Moore said that most of the information concerning embryology mentioned in the QUR’AN is in perfect conformity with modern discoveries in the field of embryology and does not conflict with them in any way. He added that there were however a few verses, on whose scientific accuracy he could not comment. He could not say whether the statements were true or false, since he himself was not aware of the information contained therein. There was also mention of this information in modern writings and studies on embryology. One such verse is:”Proclaim! (or Read!) In the name Of thy Lord and Cherisher, WHO created—Created man, out of A (mere) clot Of congealed blood.”                                                                                            [AL-QUR’AN 96:1-2]The word ‘alaq’ besides meaning a congealed clot of blood also means something that clings, a leech-like substance. Dr. Keith Moore had no knowledge whether an embryo in the initial stages appears like a leech. To check this out he studied the initial stage of the embryo under a very powerful microscope in his laboratory and compared what he observed with a diagram of a leech and he was astonished at the striking resemblance between the two! In the same manner, he acquired more information on embryology, that was hitherto not known to him, from the QUR’AN.Dr. Keith Moore answered about eighty questions dealing with embryological data mentioned in the QUR’AN and HADITH. Noting that the information contained in the QUR’AN and HADITH was in full agreement with the latest discoveries in the field of embryology, Prof. Moore said, “If I was asked these questions thirty years ago, I would not have been able to answer half of them for lack of scientific information.”Dr. Keith Moore had earlier authored the book, ‘The Developing Human’.After acquiring new knowledge from the QUR’AN, he wrote, in 1982, the 3rd edition of the same book, ‘The Developing Human’. The book was the recipient of an award for the best medical book written by a single author. This book has been translated into several major languages of the world and is used as a textbook of embryology in the first year of medical studies. In 1981, during the Seventh Medical Conference in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, Dr. Moore said, “It has been a great pleasure for me to help clarify statements in the QUR’AN about human development. It is clear to me that these statements must have come to MUHAMMAD—sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam— from GOD or ALLAH, because almost all of this knowledge was not discovered until many centuries later. This proves to me that MUHAMMAD—sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam— must have been a messenger of GOD or ALLAH{The reference for this statement is the video tape titled ‘This is the Truth’.For a copy of this video tape contact the Islamic Research Foundation}.Dr. Joe Leigh Simpson, Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, at the Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, U.S.A., proclaims: “… these HADITHS, sayings of MUHAMMAD—sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam— could not have been obtained on the basis of the scientific knowledge that was available at the time of the writer (7th century). It follows that not only is there no conflict between genetics and religion (ISLAM) but in fact religion (ISLAM) may guide science by adding revelation to some of the traditional scientific approaches… there exist statements in the QUR’AN shown centuries later to be valid which support knowledge in the QUR’AN having been derived from GOD.”MAN CREATED FROM A DROP EMITTED FROM BETWEEN THE BACKBONE AND THE RIBS”Now let man but think From what he is created! He is created from A drop emitted — Proceeding from between The back bone and the ribs.”

These revelations came down to Prophet Muhammad(PBUH), he could neither read nor write. HE WAS ILLITERATE, HOWEVER THE QURAN WAS THE BEST WORDS COMING OUT OF HIM. DIVINE REVELATION.

    Thanks much

    33. Allah chose Adam, Nuh (Noah), the family of Ibrahim (Abraham) and the family of ‘Imran above the ‘Alamin (mankind and jinns) (of their times).34. Offspring, one of the other, and Allah is the All-Hearer, All-Knower.35. (Remember) when the wife of ‘Imran said: “O my Lord! I have vowed to You what (the child that) is in my womb to be dedicated for Your services (free from all worldly work; to serve Your Place of worship), so accept this, from me. Verily, You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knowing.”36. Then when she delivered her [child Maryam (Mary)], she said: “O my Lord! I have delivered a female child,” – and Allah knew better what she delivered, – “And the male is not like the female, and I have named her Maryam (Mary), and I seek refuge with You (Allah) for her and for her offspring from Shaitan (Satan), the outcast.”37. So her Lord (Allah) accepted her with goodly acceptance. He made her grow in a good manner and put her under the care of Zakariya (Zachariya). Every time he entered Al-Mihrab to (visit) her , he found her supplied with sustenance. He said: “O Maryam (Mary)! From where have you got this?” She said, “This is from Allah.” Verily, Allah provides sustenance to whom He wills, without limit.”38. At that time Zakariya (Zachariya) invoked his Lord, saying: “O my Lord! Grant me from You, a good offspring. You are indeed the All-Hearer of invocation.”39. Then the angels called him, while he was standing in prayer in Al-Mihrab (a praying place or a private room), (saying): “Allah gives you glad tidings of Yahya (John), confirming (believing in) the Word from Allah [i.e. the creation of ‘Iesa (Jesus), the Word from Allah (“Be!” – and he was!)], noble, keeping away from sexual relations with women, a Prophet, from among the righteous.”40. He said: “O my Lord! How can I have a son when I am very old, and my wife is barren?” Allah said: “Thus Allah does what He wills.”41. He said: “O my Lord! Make a sign for me.” Allah said: “Your sign is that you shall not speak to mankind for three days except with signals. And remember your Lord much (by praising Him again and again), and glorify (Him) in the afternoon and in the morning.”42. And (remember) when the angels said: “O Maryam (Mary)! Verily, Allah has chosen you, purified you (from polytheism and disbelief), and chosen you above the women of the ‘Alamin (mankind and jinns) (of her lifetime).”43. O Mary! “Submit yourself with obedience to your Lord (Allah, by worshipping none but Him Alone) and prostrate yourself, and Irka’i (bow down etc.) along with Ar-Raki’un (those who bow down etc.).”44. This is a part of the news of the Ghaib (unseen, i.e. the news of the past nations of which you have no knowledge) which We inspire you with (O Muhammad ). You were not with them, when they cast lots with their pens as to which of them should be charged with the care of Maryam (Mary); nor were you with them when they disputed.45. (Remember) when the angels said: “O Maryam (Mary)! Verily, Allah gives you the glad tidings of a Word [“Be!” – and he was! i.e. ‘Iesa (Jesus) the son of Maryam (Mary)] from Him, his name will be the Messiah ‘Iesa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), held in honour in this world and in the Hereafter, and will be one of those who are near to Allah.”46. “He will speak to the people in the cradle and in manhood, and he will be one of the righteous.”47. She said: “O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me.” He said: “So (it will be) for Allah creates what He wills. When He has decreed something, He says to it only: “Be!” and it is.48. And He (Allah) will teach him [‘Iesa (Jesus)] the Book and Al-Hikmah (i.e. the Sunnah, the faultless speech of the Prophets, wisdom, etc.), (and) the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel).49. And will make him [‘Iesa (Jesus)] a Messenger to the Children of Israel (saying): “I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I design for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah’s Leave; and I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I bring the dead to life by Allah’s Leave. And I inform you of what you eat, and what you store in your houses. Surely, therein is a sign for you, if you believe.50. And I have come confirming that which was before me of the Taurat (Torah), and to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden to you, and I have come to you with a proof from your Lord. So fear Allah and obey me.51. Truly! Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him (Alone). This is the Straight Path.52. Then when ‘Iesa (Jesus) came to know of their disbelief, he said: “Who will be my helpers in Allah’s Cause?” Al-Hawariun (the disciples) said: “We are the helpers of Allah; we believe in Allah, and bear witness that we are Muslims (i.e. we submit to Allah).”53. Our Lord! We believe in what You have sent down, and we follow the Messenger [‘Iesa (Jesus)]; so write us down among those who bear witness (to the truth i.e. La ilaha ill-Allah – none has the right to be worshipped but Allah).54. And they (disbelievers) plotted [to kill ‘Iesa (Jesus)], and Allah planned too. And Allah is the Best of the planners.55. And (remember) when Allah said: “O ‘Iesa (Jesus)! I will take you and raise you to Myself and clear you [of the forged statement that ‘Iesa (Jesus) is Allah’s son] of those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you (Monotheists, who worship none but Allah) superior to those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of Allah, or disbelieve in some of His Messengers, e.g. Muhammad , ‘Iesa (Jesus), Musa (Moses), etc., or in His Holy Books, e.g. the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), the Qur’an] till the Day of Resurrection. Then you will return to Me and I will judge between you in the matters in which you used to dispute.”56. “As to those who disbelieve, I will punish them with a severe torment in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers.”57. And as for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah) and do righteous good deeds, Allah will pay them their reward in full. And Allah does not like the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers).58. This is what We recite to you (O Muhammad ) of the Verses and the Wise Reminder (i.e. the Qur’an).59. Verily, the likeness of ‘Iesa (Jesus) before Allah is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: “Be!” – and he was.60. (This is) the truth from your Lord, so be not of those who doubt.61. Then whoever disputes with you concerning him [‘Iesa (Jesus)] after (all this) knowledge that has come to you, [i.e. ‘Iesa (Jesus)] being a slave of Allah, and having no share in Divinity) say: (O Muhammad ) “Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves – then we pray and invoke (sincerely) the Curse of Allah upon those who lie.”62. Verily! This is the true narrative [about the story of ‘Iesa (Jesus)], and, La ilaha ill-Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the One and the Only True God, Who has neither a wife nor a son). And indeed, Allah is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.63. And if they turn away (and do not accept these true proofs and evidences), then surely, Allah is All-Aware of those who do mischief.64. Say (O Muhammad ): “O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians): Come to a word that is just between us and you, that we worship none but Allah, and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allah. Then, if they turn away, say: “Bear witness that we are Muslims.”65. O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Why do you dispute about Ibrahim (Abraham), while the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) were not revealed till after him? Have you then no sense?66. Verily, you are those who have disputed about that of which you have knowledge. Why do you then dispute concerning that which you have no knowledge? It is Allah Who knows, and you know not.67. Ibrahim (Abraham) was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a true Muslim Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism – to worship none but Allah Alone) and he was not of Al-Mushrikun (See V.2:105).68. Verily, among mankind who have the best claim to Ibrahim (Abraham) are those who followed him, and this Prophet (Muhammad ) and those who have believed (Muslims). And Allah is the Wali (Protector and Helper) of the believers.69. A party of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) wish to lead you astray. But they shall not lead astray anyone except themselves, and they perceive not.70. O people of the Scripture! (Jews and Christians): “Why do you disbelieve in the Ayat of Allah, [the Verses about Prophet Muhammad  present in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] while you (yourselves) bear witness (to their truth).”71. O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians): “Why do you mix truth with falsehood and conceal the truth while you know
