If you are not reading Scriptorium Daily, you should be. It is that perfect mix of academia and philosophical ponderings with quick wit and the short attention span of the blogosphere. Here you can find bite-size profoundness. Not pages and pages of verbose over-writing, but readable pieces heavy with meaning.
I found two recent articles particularly interesting. John Mark Reynolds shared his thoughts on “where have you been and where are you going.” He concludes that “the Christian answer” to the last question “is simple: die.”
Maybe I am just morbid, but I also enjoyed Fred Sanders’ “The Theology of Sleep” in which he concluded, “Sleep is good practice for death.”
